Montclair State University is within easy reach of New York by road, rail, or bus services. Decamp buses operate a bus service to and from montclair. On the weekend the bus drops off nearby to MSU on Valley Road and Mount Hebron Road (Map).

The MFA Open Studio Tour is hosted in Finley Hall South. Finley is near to the Red Hawk Parking deck which is the principle parking on campus.
