This page contains links to our many visiting lecturers. There are three principle sets of speakers.

There's the MAM/MSU lecture series which consists of several prominent speakers a semester conducted at the Montclair Art Museum in collaboration with MSU. Previous speakers have included Robert Storr, Philip Pearlstein, Lorna Simpson, James Rosenquist, Lisa Yuscavage, etc.

The Special Topics series is a changing series of visiting artists, critics, or other professionals, which conduct workshops or lectures and studio visits a number of times each semester.

Lastly, the venerable art forum lecture series is a long standing forum for artists. Each semester, thirteen professional artists, critics, curators, gallery directors, and others give lectures and visit the MFA students in their studios giving their insight and providing opportunities to meet and make contact with working professionals.
